Business Management student Angelina Leduc-Moreau is one of the 1500 applicants chosen to participate in the political event Equal Voice through Daughters of the Vote this year. The Equal Voice brings women and men around the country together who are dedicated to electing more women to all levels of political office in Canada. Angelina will be one of the New Brunswick representatives.
After moving to New Brunswick from Ontario, Angelina was motivated to apply because she wanted to be part of a bigger change within the community. She will be attending the provincial event in Fredericton this week and partaking in the national movement for a week in March in Ottawa.
When deciding on where to take a business program, Angelina liked how Oulton offered a condensed one year course with smaller class sizes. “Oulton College is personal and lets you be yourself, the instructors really know us and understand what we’re looking for,” said Angelina.
Through the Business Management program, Angelina mostly enjoys the different guest speakers who are brought into the classroom. “This school has offered me so many opportunities I most likely wouldn’t have got elsewhere,” said Angelina.
Going forward, Angelina hopes to one day open her own business and be part of a positive change in New Brunswick. We want to congratulate Angelina for taking part in creating political change and wish her luck with all her future endeavours!
